This tea set was inspired by watching my grandchildren play—creating their own little worlds.
I wanted to capture something of that spirit in clay: the charm of a miniature tea service,
the pleasure of arranging and sharing it, and the simple delight of objects made especially for play.
The set is intentionally durable but playful in character, with rounded forms, removable lids,
and a bright blue glaze. For me, the work is less about recreating a traditional tea set than
about preserving a moment of childhood imagination and the joy of watching it unfold.
