Notebook P (for 'palimpsest') began as an Idrani dictionary but was abandoned in favor of digital methodologies that were better suited to developing a lexicon. The notebook was repurposed for design studies related to Idrani calligraphy and illumination projects. The notebook is called a palimpsest because some repurposed pages have old dictionary entries that show through. This exhibit features a sampling of folios from the notebook.
